Helping Hands

Led Helping Hands, a student-run volunteer group supporting people in need in the community. Organized sports activities and tournament participation for people with disabilities, with the initiative receiving a state award. Also led donation drives, petition campaigns, and policy proposals focused on improving support for teenagers and young adults transitioning out of foster care.

Reusable Tumbler Donation Drive

Organized a two-week collection campaign for new and lightly used reusable tumblers. Collected donated tumblers from the school community and arranged for them to be delivered to a nonprofit organization supporting children and families in underserved communities overseas. The campaign encouraged students and families to give unused items a second life while contributing to communities in need.

Meal Preparation & Delivery Service

Participated in a long-term volunteer program preparing homemade side dishes and delivering them to an elderly community member. Helped wash, prepare, and cook ingredients, then visited the recipient’s home to deliver the meals and check in on her well-being. By 2026, this had continued for three years as a regular service activity.

Animal Care & Community Patrol Volunteering

Volunteered at an animal shelter by helping clean and organize the facility and walking rescued dogs. Also participated in companion-dog neighborhood patrol activities, walking through the community while monitoring for safety concerns and helping promote responsible pet ownership and a safer local environment.

Charity Sports Exchange (CHASE)

Co-founded a student-led charity sports initiative that brings together students from different schools through annual soccer and basketball matches. Raised donations based on the number of goals scored, contributing more than $1,500 over three years to organizations including Freedom Speakers International, Samsung Children’s Hospital, and Eco-Mom.
